Danya Gonsales is a Russian-born / Costa Rican digital/interactive media artist. He studied visual arts and design in Moscow, and explores consequential art forms and virtual spaces in their relationship with sound, time, and chance. The aesthetic Danya incorporates in his work can be described as industrial and noisy, with an emphasis on flashing lights and symbolical systems, heavily inspired by modernist and avant-garde movements, exploring the darker aspects of dreams, language, technology, glitches, and Western philosophy.
